Welcome to the Diving Center López-Bender Sub in Ampuriabrava,
Castelló de Ampurias Gerona (Costa Brava) España.(we are situated
in the center from the Bay of Rosas ).

We have some detailed information for you ,on this and following pages,
about our Diving Center which is placed in the Natural Park of the Cap de
Creus.

We are also a Diving Club (Lòpez - Bender), connected with the Spanish
Federation of Underwater Activities (FEDAS / Cmas) , over the Catalan
Federation.

We are open and we are diving during the whole year

We are in Ampuriabrava, about many years ago.

How to find us :

We are situated in Ampuriabrava, on the Main street which is leading
to the beach (Rey Juan Carlos I ) Puerto Alegre 1.

We leave and return for the diving trips from the own pier of the Diving
Center. ( we don´t use pickups or tows for to transport the divers to our
boats). Because all is inside of the Diving Center.

Diving Areas

« Punta falconera »

By way of the director of the Center, Instructor and ex-diver
of the Armada (Navy), we present you several diving areas
that stretch from Ampuriabrava to the very inner center of the
Natural Park “Cap de Creus”.

“Punta Falconera” has various diving routes which go from
14 meters of depth and where we can find a 6-metres wide
canon, from a war ship or an old costal battery, We descend
onwards past a wall down to 30m . There we arrive at a slope
down to 47m where we encounter gorgonians, spiny lobsters,
red coral and all sorts of lfe.

We can find red coral, different types of yellow sea,
and on 42 metres, colonies of lobsters

......."Cala Falconera"
Ideal area for first diving experiences, diving baptize or
swimming pool lessons.Very secure and protective
– just right for the first-time divers. From 3 to 12 metres
of depth. Buoy for boats of no more than 10 metres.
Abundant sub aquatic life and vegetation.

....."Bajo del Trencat"

.................

Its still hard to describe the “El Trencat”, even after
100 dives done there. Its caves, walls full of yellow sea,
corals and variety of life in general. The “bajo” was at some
30 centimetres until it was moved in the 80ties to 4/5 metres.
Average depth from 15 to 26 metres…finishing at 42. It is always
a good diving experience and full of surprises!
